RESORT INFORMATION
Hamata is the most southerly resort in the Red Sea directly opposite the legendary dive sites of the Fury Shoals. Located south of Marsa Alam, Hamata is an area of beauty where the desert slowly turns a land reminiscent of a savannah with mangrove swamps and palm trees lining the coast.
Diving in Hamata
All diving in Hamata is based at the Zabargad Beach Resort. House reef diving is available from the dive centre's private jetty with boat diving being available from the Hamata jetty.

Boat diving is two dives per day and includes tanks and weights. Divers with less than 30 logged dives must be guided (€12pppd). Reef fee €3pppd.

WEATHER
The Red Sea has sunshine every day and virtually no rainfall. Temperatures range from 24°C in January to 39°C in July and August.
