PADI Advanced Open Water - 2 Days - £155
This course is designed for divers who have completed the Open Water Diver course or equivalent entry-level scuba diving course.
Building upon your knowledge from the Open Water Diver course, the Advanced Open Water course consists of 5 Adventure Dives, including the Deep and Navigation Adventure Dives, over two days. The Deep Dive is conducted to a maximum of 30 metres while the Navigation Dive will develop your navigation skills. You will also choose 3 additional dives including, for example, Enriched Air Nitrox, Peak Performance Buoyancy and Underwater Naturalist.
PADI Rescue Diver - 3 Days - £199
Develop your diving knowledge and skills to effectively perform diver assists and rescues, manage diving accident situations and render first aid in a diving situation.
An important step in expanding your knowledge and experience as a diver, this is a hugely rewarding programme. Days 1 and 2 cover knowledge development and confined water exercises while day 3 is conducted in open water, where you combine all the skills and knowledge gained into a number of simulated dive accident scenarios.
Price includes tuition and hire of equipment, but not the course manual
(available from Explorers for £21.50) or certification fee (£35, payable locally). You should read and complete the Rescue Diver manual prior to travelling. Prerequisites: minimum age 12 years, PADI Advanced Open Water Diver, or equivalent, plus certificate of first aid and CPR within the last 2 years. If you do not have a first aid certificate the Emergency First Response course can be conducted in one day prior to the Rescue Diver course. If you are not a PADI diver and you are enrolling onto the Rescue Diver course you will need a minimum of 20 logged dives.
PADI Dive Master - 14 Days - £355
The first professional diver rating, the Divemaster course will train and certify you to supervise diving activities and assist with PADI diver training.
Taking your diving skills and understanding to a new level, the Divemaster course lays the foundation for a career in the diving industry. Conducted as an internship you will gain practical experience of student and diver supervision while working under the close guidance of our experienced professional staff.
A wide ranging and rewarding programme, you will develop and demonstrate your proficiency in a number of areas, including in-water skills, diver supervision, theoretical knowledge and diver rescue.
Price in Sharm El Sheikh includes all tuition. Not included in the price are the PADI Divemaster Crewpack (including manual and slates), workbook, encyclopaedia, equipment hire or certification fee. To get the most from the internship you need to complete the Divemaster manual and PADI Diving Knowledge Workbook prior to your arrival in resort.
Minimum prerequisites: age 18 years, PADI Rescue Diver (or equivalent), proof of >20 logged dives, diving medical within the previous 12 months and first aid and CPR training within the previous 24 months (Emergency First Response recommended). You must have >60 logged dives to certify as a PADI Divemaster. Certification is by direct application to PADI, £55 +VAT.
PADI Assistant Instructor - 9 Days - £595
Play an active part in training new divers.
Focusing on the PADI system of diver education and developing presentation skills, the course covers use of PADI materials, PADI standards, how to present and gives an introduction to teaching in confined water. The Assistant Instructor course is the first part of the full Instructor Development Course (IDC).
As an Assistant Instructor you can conduct knowledge development presentations, evaluate Open Water Diver surface skills and teach the Peak Performance Buoyancy and Project AWARE Specialty courses.
Price in Sharm El Sheikh includes all tuition, but not equipment hire, Instructor Candidate Workbook or other materials. You are advised to complete the Instructor Candidate Workbook prior to travel. Certification is by direct application to PADI, £35 + VAT.

PADI Instructor - 9 Days - £595
The full PADI IDC will provide you with the skills and knowledge to teach scuba diving worldwide.
Introducing you to the PADI system of diver education the course provides you with the tools to train scuba divers in the classroom, confined water and open water. Covering areas as diverse as risk management, the business of diving and PADI standards, the IDC develops a rounded diving educator who can work worldwide. You should have sufficient knowledge of diving theory prior to the IDC, as no formal theory presentations are included. Certification as a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor is by successful completion of the PADI Instructor Examination scheduled at the end of the IDC.
Price in Sharm El Sheikh includes tuition. Not included in the price are manuals and materials, equipment hire, PADI IE fee £325 +VAT or PADI registration £80 +VAT (both payable direct to PADI).
Minimum prerequisites: age 18 years, PADI Divemaster, or equivalent, diving medical within the previous 12 months, first aid and CPR within the previous 24 months, certified diver for at least 6 months, >60 logged dives. To attend the Instructor Examination you must have logged >100 dives.
(TDI) Advanced Nitrox - 3 Days - £199
Use EAN22 through to 100% oxygen in your dive plan.
While not a decompression diving course it is the foundation that other tech courses are built upon and certifies you to a maximum depth of 40 metres
Minimum prerequisites: age 15 years, PADI Enriched Air or TDI Nitrox Diver or equivalent, >25 logged dives.
(TDI) Advanced Gas Blender - 1 Day - £199
Skills and training for the safe handling of oxygen and accurate nitrox and trimix blending.
Minimum perquisites: age 18 years, PADI EANx Diver, or equivalent.
(TDI) Basic Trimix Diver - 5 Days - £475
Use helium in your breathing gas to significantly reduce nitrogen narcosis, permitting you to dive to a maximum depth of 60 metres using normoxic trimix.
Minimum prerequisites: age 18 years, TDI Advanced Nitrox Diver and Decompressions Procedures Diver, or equivalent, 100 logged dives.
(TDI) Advanced Trimix - 5 Days - £499
Testing the skill development and knowledge gained by the already experienced tech diver, the course provides further training to competently plan and execute dives to 100 metres using hypoxic mixes.
Minimum prerequisites: age 18 years, TDI Extended Range Diver or TDI Basic Trimix Diver, or equivalent, minimum of 100 logged dives
