It is a condition of joining any of our holidays that you must have adequate travel insurance in place to ensure you are covered for the cost of emergency medical repatriation including air ambulance and helicopter rescue services, decompression chambers, as well as protecting the full value of your holiday should you have to cancel due to an insured reason.

The Explorers travel insurance policy is designed specifically to cover our holidays, and you should be aware that some policies do not include, or restrict cover for this type of travel. If you choose not take advantage of our special policy, you must ensure that the policy you arrange provides an adequate level of protection and covers you for all activities you may wish to participate in when travelling with us including Scuba Diving.

You must carry proof of insurance (e.g. your insurance certificate) with you on the holiday.

*Please note: The Gold Activities Policy is required to cover Scuba Diving.

Type of Insurance and Cover
Travel insurance for single or annual multi trips – Your Booking Invoice will show which cover you have selected.

Annual Cover: Worldwide holiday and business cover for an unlimited number of trips, of up to 70 days any one trip. Winter Sports can be included up to 28 days. Work of a predominantly non-manual nature may be included at additional cost. Maximum age 65 years old at date of payment of Insurance Premium.

Single Trip: You are covered for a single trip to a specific region of the world. Applicants aged 66 or more can be covered at additional premium. Winter Sports may be included. Maximum age 74 years old at date of payment of Insurance Premium.

Full details are shown on the Policy Document which will be emailed to you upon receipt of premium. Please ensure you read the Policy Document which contains the Policy Summary carefully to ensure you are happy with the cover provided, as this insurance is being sold to you on a non advised basis from a single insurer, Axa Insurance. The Policy Document also contains details of our 14-day money back cooling off period and full details of how to make a claim.
