Only one hour's drive from Manado, the coral filled bay on the Lembeh Strait is home to Kungkungan Bay Resort. Situated on a private 1200ft beach, the resort offers access to the world's finest critter diving and boasts the only protected private house reef in the area.
The resort itself is built in traditional Sulawesi style with all rooms beachfront and offering excellent views of the Lembeh Strait. All rooms have recently been upgraded and include en suite shower, ceiling fan, telephone and two queen-size beds.
The resort also offers a recently added swimming pool with waterfall complete with pool bar. The restaurant incorporates traditional Indonesian dishes as well as a Western menu with a 24 hour kitchen.

Diving
There are 40 dive sites in the Strait, catering to every diver’s need. The speciality of the area is the world-renowned diving, with exotic creatures found only minutes away from the resort. The Resort is the only operation in the Strait using twin engine purpose built speed boats allowing you to maximise your relaxation time in between dives. Among the amazing array that are the norm, rather than the exception, are Rhinopias, Ambon scorpion fish, pygmy seahorse, mantis shrimps, mimic octopus, hairy frogfish and the flamboyant cuttlefish.
There are also a couple of WWII wrecks which have become home to many creatures.
The PADI dive centre offers a full range of courses. Nitrox is available.
Diving is included in the itinerary price and includes three boat dives per day for four days and unlimited shore diving at Kungkungan Bay with tanks, weights and belts.

Day 1. Morning flight from London Heathrow non-stop to Singapore.
Day 2. Arrive Singapore and connect with your onward flight to Manado, transfer to The Tasik Ria Resort for a 5 night stay.
Day 3-6. Four full days to enjoy diving in the Marine Park.
Day 7. Morning transfer to Kungkungan Bay Resort for a 5 night stay.
Day 8-12. Four full days to enjoy diving the Fabulous Lembeh Straits.
Day 13. Day at leisure before an afternoon flight to Singapore for an overnight stop.
Day 14. Join your lunchtime flight to London arriving early evening time.
