Located on the north coast of Mindoro Island, Puerto Galera is situated on a beautiful natural harbour and offers many fine beaches, sheltered coves and a back drop of lush green hills.
The El Galleon Beach Resort is located on La Laguna Beach. All rooms have ensuite bathrooms, mini bars and hot and cold showers. They offer rooms that are both fan cooled or have air conditioning. The resort has a swimming pool, restaurant which offers excellent food and a bar which serves cocktails and is very popular with the local diving community.

Diving
Puerto Galera offers some excellent diving from calm shallow sites perfect for training to high voltage dives in strong currents for the larger pelagics. Some of the best dive operators in the Philippines are found here, making it an ideal place to learn to dive.
The PADI 5 star IDC dive centre, based in Puerto Galera, is an excellent place to further your dive qualifications or to be guided by some of the most knowledgeable dive masters in the region.
Diving is possible year-round with the best time being March to October. Around 25 dive sites are accessible within 15 minutes of the resort. Visibility is usually between 15-40m.
Diving is included in the cost and includes 6 days boat diving and 2 dives per day for Puerto Galera. Dive packs include tanks, weights, belts and air.
Itinerary
Standard Itinerary
Day 1. (Departs daily) Fly London Heathrow to Singapore with Singapore Airlines.
Day 2. Arrive in Singapore and connect with your onward flight to Manila. On arrival you will be met and transferred by car and boat (approx: 2-3 hours) to the El Galleon Beach Resort for an eight night stay.
Day 3–9. Seven days to enjoy the excellent diving around Puerto Galera.
Day 10. Transfer to Manila for an overnight stay.
Day 11. Fly to London Heathrow via Singapore.
